Using the iPhone with DocuPhase Documents

The iPhone, in addition to its phone/texting communications capabilities, can receive email messages as well as utilize secure network connections to host servers using an internet browser.  The following example shows an iPhone, running Apple’s Safari web-browser, doing a login to DocuPhase.

Search criteria can be entered and a search initiated, from the iPhone screen shown on the right above.

After the search executes, the DocuPhase search Results Page appears in the Application Pane with the Lightweight Viewer prepared to display the first page of the first search result document selected.

Since this is done with the iPhone using the Safari web-browser, integrated gesturing for DocuPhase reacts to your turning the iPhone horizontally to display both the Results Page and the Viewer page images in Landscape mode, as shown below.

Turning the iPhone vertically while the current document and page image is selected, presents a profile-image of the selected document in the Lightweight Viewer displayed in the Safari browser, as shown below.

Just as with the mobile iPad, the iPhone can also be used to access the DocuPhase Workflow Tab to obtain progression-based workflow Tasks that are ready for this user to select or obtain and process.

Likewise via the iPhone Email features, DocuPhase Alerts and Progression-based workflow Notifications can be received as email messages that contain links to a related document related to the alert or work item

When the appropriate Internet connection to DocuPhase is available, these links are used to access the associated document or work item.
