Understanding the Repository

• The DocuPhase Repository can be thought of as a large room full of filing cabinets, with each cabinet containing its own set of Documents.
• In DocuPhase, these "cabinets" are referred to as Applications; each Application can be customized with its own set of features, security, and permissions.
• The major building blocks of Applications are known as "Indexes"; Indexes (like labels on file drawers and file folders) allow easy search and access of Documents stored within an Application.

• Document Level Security (DLS) and Index Level Security (ILS)
• Revision Control and Revision Tracking & Audit Trail
• Auto Check-In for Annotations
• Force Comments on Check In
• Exclude from Global Searching
• Progression Events
