Permission Management

Permissions granted to individual users or groups can be limited or broad in scope depending on the various roles and the granted rights of the User/Group.

For example, it may prove prudent to limit permissions granted to data entry personnel. They may need access to only one Application for data entry purposes.

Whereas, Supervisors and Managers may be granted permissions allowing them to assign users to Group memberships that permit actions such as adding Applications and creating new UDLs.

DocuPhase permissions are defined on Tab Sections for the System Level, Applications Level and Analytics Level using the Permission tabs on User and Group Permission pages which contain identical sets of permission settings, as illustrated below.

Essentially, the Group Permissions page has the identical permissions and structure as a User Permission page , except it does not have a Groups Tab.

An example of the permissions layout for the Application Tab of a User or Group Permissions page is shown below.

An example of the permissions layout for the Analytics Tab is provided below.

Detailed information on these tabs and permissions are provided in the topics: Modify User Permissions and Modify Group Permissions.
